Breathe, Baby…….



Deep breathing is one of the best and easiest ways to relax.

Practicing proper breathing techniques can improve your overall health during your pregnancy… and mindful breathing  can also help you to reduce stress and anxiety.

The simple  4-7-8 relaxing breath exercise can be “a natural tranquilizer for the nervous system.”

Deep Breathing is seen as such a useful tool that we incorporate  abdominal breathing into pain relief techniques in our Mini Lamaze classes. Phenomenal to use in labor!

Additionally, deep breathing has a cascading effect on the body as it may help lower blood pressure, relieve tension and enable your circulatory system to be more efficient.
